Harto de escuchar cantar taaaaaaaaan estúpidamente el clásico de Rage Against The Machine “Killing in the name” en antros como el Ukukus, Kamikaze y demás chupódromos del centro del Cusco es que decido poner este post.

Desde hace muuuuuuchos años se escucha con frecuencia el pegajoso, funk/ hardcore/ hip hop / Metal: “Killing in the name” (“Matando en nombre de”) himno de una de las bandas más representativas de los años 90: Rage Against The Machine (Rabia contra la máquina, por supuesto al decir “la maquina” nos referimos al sistema).

Ante la imposibilidad (de algunos) de cantar el notable coro del tema en mención en su idioma original, a algún chistoso se le ocurrió cambiar la frase:

“And now you do what they told ya” (“...Y ahora tu haces lo que ellos te dijeron”)

Por el ridículo “El que chupa que chucha”, que no dice nada, no tiene relación alguna y descontextualiza la excelente letra y propuesta contestataria de la banda… lo peor cada noche muchos paisanos levantando sus eufóricas manos, y amparados en los tragos y la avanzada noche vociferan el corito ese…. Francamente se escucha estúpido… Por lo menos los chicos del Puklla le dieron un toque más creativo y cantan al unísono: “sanguchones de luca”… en todo caso espero que tanto este video con subtítulos en español como las letras en inglés ayuden un poco a revertir tamaña estupidez. NUNCA ES TARDE... MOTHERFUCKERS!!!
